Cispus Wreath Sales

Olympia Education Foundation Cispus Wreath Sales occur in the fall. The funds raised ensure funding for overnight environmental studies for our 5th graders. Pre-order a beautiful wreath for your holiday decor and remember your neighbors, family, and friends for gifts.

The Olympia Education Foundation is a nonprofit founded to meet the emerging needs in the Olympia School District. Since its inception in 1998, the foundation has awarded more than $2.5 million to projects and programs in every school in support of its mission to empower every student. Support includes the principal’s emergence fund, teaching & learning grants, mental health initiative, and fifth-grade outdoor education.

The foundation has organized a student-led wreath fundraiser since 2009 to help offset the cost of overnight outdoor education for fifth-grade students and their families. Wreath-dales revenue allows the foundation to fund a little more than one-third of the cost of outdoor education.

Students are encouraged – but not required – to sell as many $25 wreaths as they can between now and 5 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. The suggested goal is 5 wreaths per student, but again, students are not required to participate. All sales occur online. When placing their order, purchasers must choose between a wreath pickup location of either Capital High School or Olympia High School.

Wreaths will be distributed and must be picked up at either Capital High School or Olympia High School on Sunday, November 20. The purchaser will choose their pickup location at the time of purchase. The foundation will announce pickup times and exact locations the week before. Purchasers may send a friend or family member to pick up their order if they are not available to do so.

If people are not interested in buying wreaths they can donate instead – or in addition to – wreath purchases (make sure to note “outdoor education” in the donation).
