Donations are collected each fall for the December Holiday Store where students can shop for gifts for their immediate family members. Items can be purchased for $0.25 or one DSK dollar each. We collect new and like-new items, including stationary, CDs, DVDs, small toys, stuffed animals, jewelry, books for all ages, knick knacks, kitchenware, key chains, tools, and the like. Men’s items are always in high demand.
If you know of a business that might like to make a donation of items or gift cards please let us know.
We also recruit volunteers to help with set up the day before and on the day of the event (gift wrapping, shopping helpers for students, and cleanup).
