Roarin’ & Soarin’ Fun Run – Madison & McKenny Mad Dash 5 k

Madison is teaming up with McKenny Elementary to bring you our 2nd annual Roarin’ & Soarin’ Fun Run! One of our largest fundraisers of the year, the fun run is a great opportunity to join your community for a great cause!

The event takes place Sunday June 8 at Capitol Lake (Heritage Park). This is a fast, flat course, perfect for beginning runners and a chance for experienced runners to set a personal record! The course is ADA-accessible, so the event is open to all abilities and fitness levels.

8:30 am – 2.5k kids run (1 lap around the lake)
9:00 am – 5k run (2 laps around the lake)

ALL Madison & McKenny students receive free registration, a shirt and medal.

We are looking for 2025 sponsors! Madison Elementary School is a small school serving the Eastside neighborhood and downtown. Our school strives to create a nurturing environment for students, their families, staff, and the Olympia community. Madison encourages caring, respect, academic excellence, and lifelong learning.

The Madison Elementary PTO is a non-proﬁt organization that provides crucial financial support to teachers and helps to fund many fun and enriching activities. Money raised through this event will allow the PTO to offer our students even more enrichment opportunities.

The inaugural Madison Mad Dash 5K helped to begin a tradition that builds more community involvement in the education of our children and provides a fun, healthy activity for kids and adults alike. This is an opportunity to introduce kids to the lifelong beneﬁts of a healthier lifestyle.
